MAKO began Schutzhund Training at My BodyGuard Dogs in Marengo Illinois, however training was discontinued to continue due to financial difficulties. Like his predecessor, Lucky, Mako has been and will be further trained at TOPS IN DOG TRAINING CORPORATION These people are renowned for their expertise in dog training, especially for the members and staff of several local police department K-9 units, including the Lake County Illinois Sheriffs Department.
